Garage Player IPTV
Privacy policy
Effective 23 October 2026
Garage Player IPTV ("the app") is made by The Garage Devs, Albania (b@thegaragedevs.com). This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: everything stays on your TV, and we collect nothing.
What the app stores on your TV
- The playlists you add: their names, addresses and, for Xtream Codes, the server, username and password.
- Your settings, favourites, folders, hidden channels, recently watched channels and the last channel you watched.
- A one-way hash of your parental PIN (never the PIN itself).
- A copy of the channel list and TV guide, so the app opens quickly.
This data is kept only in the app's storage on your TV. It is not sent to The Garage Devs or anyone else.
Network connections
To work, the app connects directly from your TV to the servers you choose: your playlist and TV guide addresses, the channel streams they list, and the channel logo addresses inside the playlist. Those servers see your TV's IP address and the requests it makes, under their own privacy policies. Your Xtream Codes login is sent only to the server you entered.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash reporting. The Garage Devs has no server the app talks to.
Deleting your data
Remove a playlist in Settings, use the reset options in Settings, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes everything the app stored.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Parents can lock content with the parental PIN.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
