Adding a playlist

Open Settings (bottom of the folder list) and choose Add M3U playlist or Add Xtream login. Type with the TV keyboard, or open the SmartThings app on your phone, select your TV and use its keyboard to type long links.

The playlist doesn't load

Check the address (including http:// or https://) and that the TV is online. Some providers only answer on http://. If your provider blocks apps, contact them; Garage Player loads playlists straight from their server.

TV guide

If your playlist names a guide (XMLTV), Garage Player loads it automatically. Use Settings → Update programme guide to refresh it.

PIN locks

Set a parental PIN in Settings → Parental PIN. Hold OK on a channel or folder to lock it. Adult groups are locked automatically; you can turn that off with the PIN.

Remote

OK plays a channel or shows the channel list while watching; hold OK opens options; Up/Down or CH +/− change channel; Play/Pause pauses; Stop returns to the list; Back goes back, and on the first screen closes the app.

Does it come with channels?

No. Garage Player IPTV is a player only and does not provide, sell or recommend any content.
